Ancient Indian mental-maths shortcuts, taught with patience and play — so your child adds, multiplies and problem-solves faster than a calculator, and carries that speed all the way to Class 12.
It's more than fast sums — it changes how a child feels about numbers altogether.
Sutra-based shortcuts turn slow, error-prone sums into quick, reliable mental answers.
When calculation stops feeling scary, children engage with maths instead of avoiding it.
Holding numbers in the mind and manipulating them builds concentration that helps every subject.
The same sutras keep paying off — in board exams, entrance tests and competitive exams later.
Both build number skill, but they work in very different ways — here's the difference, animated.
Both are genuinely valuable — many children benefit from either. We teach Vedic Maths because it keeps paying off well past primary school, growing with your child through Class 12.
India's relationship with mathematics runs deep — this is the land that gave the world the decimal place-value system and the very concept of zero, refined over centuries by scholars like Āryabhaṭa and Brahmagupta.
The specific system taught in classrooms today as "Vedic Mathematics" traces to Bharati Krishna Tirtha (1884–1960), the 143rd Shankaracharya of Govardhana Math in Puri. Between 1911 and 1918 he studied the Vedas closely and said he reconstructed 16 sutras and 13 sub-sutras — word-formulae for mental calculation — from sections of the Atharva Veda. His book, completed in 1957 and published posthumously in 1965, sparked the modern Vedic Maths movement that continues to grow today.
Historians still debate exactly how these sutras trace to the Vedic texts themselves — what's undisputed is the living tradition of mental arithmetic they draw on, and the results they produce in the classroom.
All three stages are shown below — filter to just one if you'd rather focus on your child's class.

Financially backward children learn completely free. Everyone else pays a small, subsidised monthly fee that helps us reach more children — never full market cost.
Classes 1–9 — one flat, subsidised fee for eligible candidates
No child is turned away for financial reasons — talk to us about eligibility and we'll work it out together.
Unlike a bead frame, Vedic sutras don't stop at arithmetic. The same mental agility built in Classes 1–9 carries straight into senior-school maths.
Vedic identities make factorisation and quadratic equations quicker to spot and solve.
Less time lost to arithmetic slip-ups means more attention for the actual concept.
JEE, NEET and olympiad-style questions reward speed — years of sutra practice pay off directly.
Confidence built early means board exams feel like practice, not panic.
